He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clanton and Elizabeth Hartsell Clanton; his son John Carl Clanton; and his brother Billy Clanton. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jordan Clanton; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Clanton (John Freeze); his stepsons, Chuck Cashion, Tracy Cashion and Allen Cashion; his brothers, Tommy Clanton (Iris) and Jimmy Clanton (Beverly); his grandchildren, John Carl Freeze and Angel Marie Freeze; his great grandchildren, Bradon and Skylar Freeze; his stepgrandchildren, Lindsay Brock and Alyssa Cashion; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jordan, Austin and Josie Brock.
No services will be held at this time due to the current COVID situation.
