It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Reid Ketchie Sr. (Mooresville, North Carolina), born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son-in-law John Ward, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cagle Ketchie; his children, Pamela Ketchie Ward, Joe Ketchie, Jr. (Tracy) and Amy Ketchie Griffin (Richard); his grandchildren, Kevin Ketchie, Hannah Ketchie, Molly Ward Byrd, Katherine Ward and Kathleen Griffin; his great grandchildren, Jax Johnson and Wesley Byrd; and his uncle Neil Morrow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
