It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ell (Mooresville, North Carolina), born in Washington Court House, Ohio, who passed away on July 17, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Nelson Maddux and Ruth Minton Beair; her husband Dale Don Ell; her son Richard B. Ell; and her brother Robert B. Maddux.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Ell (Debra) of Frankenmuth, MI and Sandra Lown (Jim) of Mooresville; and her grandchildren, Toby Ell (Hope), Tara Hundley (Brian), Travis Ell (Kristy), Alex Ell (Stacy), Chris Lown, Steven Lown and Emily Lown. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
