With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Zeb Burris (Mooresville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb Burris and Willie Lee Burris; his siblings, Richard Burris and Barbara Burris Miller; and his parents-in-law, James and Ira Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Hobbs Burris; his children, Jeffrey Burris and Natalie Burris; his brothers, Steve Burris (Sandra) of Lincolnton, NC and David Burris (Pam) of Denver, NC; and his brothers-in-law, Bobby Hobbs of Ormond Beach, FL and Randy Hobbs (Joyce) of Statesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
