He is survived by: his parents, Susan Bassinger (Petti) and Douglas B. Bassinger; his children, Jakob and Noelle; his siblings, Lisa Bassinger Stacy (Lawrence Stacy) and Douglas P. Bassinger; his nephew Aaron; and his nieces, Haley, Devynn and Brooke.
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, at stjude.org.
