It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Edward Freund of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jeffrey Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeffrey Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Freund and Barbara Heineke Freund; his sisters, Laura Freund of Huntersville, Amy Abernathy (Jack) of Hilton Head and Johanna Newman (Kevin) of Davidson; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Phillips (Carson), Ben Newman, Justin Newman, Stephanie Phillips and Mary Newman.
