She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn Boyd Auten and Dorothy Dare Traywick Auten; her husband Roger Mayhew, Jr.; her son Walter Carter-Corker (Caitlin); her siblings, Glenda Auten Burch (Daniel), Kelly Mauldin, Cathy Mauldin Armstong (Steve) and Charles Gerald Mauldin, Jr.; her stepdaughter Courtney Pimentel (Christopher); her grandson Caden Pimentel; her nieces, Darian Jane Burch (Joshua Ziemann), Caitlin True Burch (Adam Wojcik), Jordan Harrell Richards (Clark) and Raina Harrell; her great-nieces, Josephine Jane Wojcik, Dorothy Dare Wojcik and Ann Margaret Richards; and her great-nephew Goodman Richards. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Episcopal Church (164 Fairview Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117).
