He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Knox and Mary Elizabeth Purser Knox; his wife Sylvia Stallings Knox; and his siblings, Hollis Knox and Hilda Ann Stutts.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Knox (Julie), Lisa Carver (Bobby) and Tracy Lentz (Scott); his brother Frank Knox (Becky Deal); his grandchildren, Brittany, Melody, Jennifer, Amber, Josh, Laura and Joe; and his close friend Liz Whitlow. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
