He was predeceased by: his father James Wilbur Johnson, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Elouise Kirby Self (Larry); his spouse Tonda Waugh Johnson; his children, Candice Bankhead (Nate) of Cleveland and Steven Johnson (Sara) of Cleveland; his granddaughters, Harper Lea Bankhead and Kenzie Jaymes Bankhead; his siblings, Juanita Crump (David), Lisa Lawson (John), Debbie Malcolm, Christina Powell, Darlene McDowell (Fred) and Keith Johnson (Sandy); his mother-in-law Brenda Waugh; and his sister-in-law Kim Berens. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
