He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Smith and Ann Morris Smith; and his brothers, Mike Smith and Tommy Smith. He is survived by: his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Tasha of Mooresville; his son Paul of Florida; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Isaiah, Vanessa and Evan; his siblings, Maribeth Magoon (Roger) and Daniel Smith (Robin); and his sister-in-law Jean Smith. He is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
