We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2021, at the age of 85, Herbert Bernard Marks (Mooresville, North Carolina), born in Deerfield, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwin Marks and Elsie Ahlemann Marks; his siblings, William Marks (Mildred) and Leola Hunt (Wesley); and his nephew Bradley Marks.

He is survived by: his significant other Jan; his sons, Todd Marks (Terry) of Harrisburg, SD, Gregg Marks (Dana) of Bristol, TN and Scott Marks (Marie) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Jaycee Dedmon (Bobby) of Mooresville, Trevor Marks (Tiffany) of Catawba, NC and Tregg Marks (Leigha) of Stanley, NC.; his great grandchild Riggs Dedmon; his brother Stanley Marks (Judy); and his sister-in-law Carole Ignarski (Joesph).

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, or St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Mooresville.
