He was predeceased by: his parents, Freece Bowell and Jane White Bowell; his wife Anne Mornard Bowell; his siblings, Betty Difelice and James Bowell; and his son-in-law Billy Ray Rowton.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Rowton, George Moffat (Donna), Brian Moffat (Debbie), Kathleen Kitchens (Kurt), Henry Bowell (Darlene) and Francis Bowell (Clara); and his grandchildren, James Rowton, Michael Rowton, Thomas Moffat, Todd Moffat, Kathleen Moffat, Tyler Moffat, Kyndra Heck, Kaylee Tucker, Zachary Bowell, Kevin Ledoux, Christian Ledoux, Caleb Ledoux and Carmen Ledoux. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
