It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Goode of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Surber and Myra Harbin Surber; and her husband Jack C. Goode. She is survived by: her children, Ron Goode (Brenda) and Cacheeta Pender (Joe); and her siblings, Jim Surber and Marilyn Phagen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
