It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Christie of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee and Grace Munday Lee Lyon; her husband Robert Christie; her daughter Saundra Rogers; and her sisters, Mildred Henderson and Gladys Rozner.
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Stutts; her sister Jo Duckworth; her grandchildren, Wendy Overcash (Walter) and Tim Stutts (Dionne); and her great grandchildren, Mary Liz, Joshua, Sarah, Jaden and Caleb. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed making COVID masks for anyone who needed one.
