She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Lipe; her parents, L. G. Patton (Elgie) and Mamie Patton (Mary Martha London); and her brothers, James W. Patton and Robert L. Patton.
She is survived by: her sons, Dan Lipe of Winston-Salem, NC and Ron Lipe (Helene) of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Emily Coyazo of Huntersville, NC, Olivia Lipe of Richmond, VA, Catherine Lipe-Masson (Sylvain) of Brooklyn, NY and Robert Lipe (Anna) of Columbia, SC; her great grandchild Eleanor Ruth Lipe; and her nieces and nephews, Priscilla Schoenen (William J.) of Morganton, NC, Carada Hood (John David) of Morganton, NC, Bobby G. Patton (Mabel) of Morganton, NC, Roger Patton (Pansy) of Morganton, NC, Ben Patton (Sue) of Morganton, NC and David Patton (Maxine) of Morganton, NC.
