He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Monroe Christy and Ada Beaver Christy. He is survived by: his wife Louise P. Christy; his children, Don Christy (Sarita) of Smyrna, TN, Ron Christy, Pam Banker of Smyrna, TN and Dale Christy (Rose Anna) of Mooresville; and his grandchildren, Ron L. Christy, Jr., Jordan Carpenter, Nicole Grissom (Seth) and Parker Christy (Paige). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
