We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2022, at the age of 86, Grayson Odell Stamey Jr. of Mooresville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grayson Odell Stamey, Sr. and Tiny Needham Stamey; his wife Edith LaVerne Vinson Stamey; and his brothers, Robert Stamey and Melvin Stamey.

He is survived by: his children, Van Stamey of Mooresville and Robbi Grayson of Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Jared Allen Stamey, Jessica Lauren Stamey and Charles "Tripp" Ray Reed III. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
