He is survived by: his wife Tina King Bethune; his daughter Shelby Locklear (Tommie); his grandson Dallas Locklear of Maxton, NC.; his sisters, Ann Holcomb and Beth Sanders (Wally); his nieces and nephews, Libba Griffin (Phil), Dr. Bill Holcomb, Julie Hayley (Ian), Hal Sanders (Pam) and Kirk Sanders (Christy); his mother-in-law Jo-Ann Honeycutt (Rod) of Salisbury, NC; and his brother-in-law Mike King of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by cousins, great nieces, great nephews.
