It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Ellis Mullins of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bess Redhed Mullins and Edgar Raymond Mullins; and his siblings, Edgar Raymond Mullins Jr. and Elizabeth Ione Mullins. He is survived by: his wife Carol Knisley Copeland Mullins; his sister Judith Mullins Gorham; his children, Jody Mullins Johnson of Marietta, GA and Jeffrey B. Mullins of Champaign, IL; his grandsons, Alexander (Erin), Andrew and Matthew Johnson (Izzy); and his great grandchildren, Avery and Caden Johnson.
