Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gary LaRoy Rains of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Hamilton, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 79, on July 28, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ova L. Rains and Cora Gill Rains; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Bertha Lehman; and his niece Beth Lehman.
He is survived by: his close friends, Bill, Sandy Goodwin, Ron and Shirley Nickell; his wife Judy Rains (Lehman); his sister Beverly Menken (John) of Rockford; his daughters, Pam Adams (Gerry) of Mooresville, Julie Carson (Ken) of Mooresville and Kris Tinkley (Pat) of Mooresville; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Jeremy, Kara, Matthew, Joshua, Tyler, Max and Lydia. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
