He is survived by: his parents, Donald McCarter and Amelia Farmer McCarter; his wife Vicki Pittman McCarter; his children, Mitchell McCarter, Kasey Gearhart (Tim) and Ali Burgamy (Jesse); his grandchildren, Noah Gearhart, Brynn Gearhart, Savannah Gearhart, Maverick Burgamy, Knox Burgamy, Locklyn Burgamy and Ember Burgamy; his siblings, Rae McCarter, Sandy Sheppard (Ken), Doug McCarter, Danny McCarter (Dawn) and Jimmy McCarter (Denys); and his nieces and nephews, Paige Whiting, Madi McCarter, Jaden McCarter, Justin Daviss, Ian Daviss, Connor McCarter and Jaxon McCarter.
