He is survived by: his children, Karen Mills (Ed) of Mooresville and Mike Childers (Ann) of Mooresville; his brother Jack Childers (Bea) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Chris Mills, Jennifer Childers, Eric Childers (Elise) and Amy Childers; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Ada Limon and Rhett Childers (Mary Shook).
