It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Lucille McConnell of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Blackwelder and Fannie Reid Blackwelder; her siblings, John Blackwelder, Lucy Phifer, Nellie Parker and Reid Blackwelder; and her pet Chance.
She is survived by: her daughters, Talma Williams, Vickie Patterson (Freddie), Jean Crotty (Patrick) and Sheila Johnston (Donald); her grandchildren, Jonathan Williams (Courtney), Amy Mahaffey (Ben), Amanda Dean, Laura Crotty-Alexander (Tom) and Shane Crotty (Anna); her great grandchildren, Matthias, Madison Williams, Jaden Archie, McKenna, Paxton Walker, Owen Mahaffey, Mason, Ashlyn Dean, Grant, Henry Alexander, Ella and James Crotty; and her sister Sarah Cecile. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, masks will be required.
