With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Marie Novak Zickafoose of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Michael Novak Sr. and Susie Danish Novak; her husband Raymond Earl Zickafoose Sr.; her siblings, Mary Anne Kundra and Joseph Novak; her son Joseph Zickafoose; and her daughter-in-law Melissa Zickafoose.
She is survived by: her children, Ray (Jerry) and Charlene Zickafoose (Bruce); her brother John Novak; her grandchildren, Chloe, Emil, Lex (Meggan), Parker, Gage, Reid and Riley; and her close friend Kay Zickafoose.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Norman Humane Society, 2106 Charlotte Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28117, in honor of Elizabeth's lifelong dedication to caring for animals in need.
