It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Ballard (Mooresville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gamel McElveen and Sue Poole McElveen; her husband Sid Ballard; her son Darin Ballard; her brother George McElveen, Jr.; and her great grandchild Samuel Talbert.
She is survived by: her son Greg Ballard (Franda); her grandchildren, Geoffrey Ballard (Tiffany) and Jennifer Talbert (John); her great grandchildren, Kortlyn, Grier, Zeb, Olive and Oakley; her siblings, Brenda Troutman, Christa Owens (Frank) and Ronald McElveen; her nieces, Torie Owens, Banning Troutman and Natalie McElveen; and her nephew Patrick McElveen.
