With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Joseph Hayes of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Limerick, Leinster, who passed away on April 1, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denis Hayes and Kathleen Hayes (Phillips); and his wife Rita Hayes (O'Halloran). He is survived by: his siblings, Seamus Hayes (Ferga), Denis "Morey" Hayes (Nora) and Ann Hayes (Joe) of Ireland; his children, Michelle Rumple (Craig), Denise Hayes, Edward Hayes, Jr. (Kathryn) and Gordon Hayes (Susan); and his grandchildren, Caitlin Rumple, Chloe Rumple, Caroline Hayes and Audrey Hayes. He is also survived by forty-one nieces and nephews.
