He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Douthit and Violet Frady Douthit; the mother of his child Evelyn Morris Douthit; his former wife Patricia "Gayle" Moore Douthit; and his brother Bobby Douthit.
He is survived by: his son Charles "Chuck" Douthit (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Chase and Caleb Douthit; his stepson Nicky Helms (Angie McConnell); and his siblings, Jean Karriker, Ann Tilley, Arnold Douthit and Jack Douthit.
