He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Stockton and Blanche Lovingood Stockton; his wife Linda Jones Stockton; his son Eric Stockton; and his sister Wilma Jeanne Stockton Shepherd.
He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Davis (Joey); his siblings, Doris Smathers and James Larry Stockton (Noriko); his brother-in-law William "Bill" Jones, Jr. (Barbara); his granddaughters, Lindsay Lackey (Jason) and Madison Davis; and his great grandchildren, Elijah and Emery Lackey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
