She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Shaw and Cora Gallimore Shaw; her husbands, Hubert T. Cook and Charles Knear; her daughters, Cathy Cook Morton and Denise Cook Ramsouer; her son-in-law Jimmy Morton; and her siblings, R. J. Shaw (Jackie) and Louise Shaw Goings (Junior).
She is survived by: her son H. Mike Cook (Cathy); her son-in-law Dean Ramsouer; her grandchildren, Sherry M. Roberts (Jamey), Courtney C. Smith (Adam), Michael Cook, Jr. (Sherry), Taylor Ramsouer and Jonathan Ramsouer (Haylee); and her great grandchildren, Casey Cook, Lily Smith, Landon Cook, Sam Smith, Luke Roberts, Wyatt Ramsouer, Wesleigh Ramsouer and Wrylie Ramsouer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Cavin-Cook Chapel (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glenwood Memorial Park (273 Glenwood Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115).
