She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Thompson; her sister Pamela Johnson; her parents, Lathan "Lake" Thompson and Jeanette Williams; and her grandparents, Elbert, Nannie Moore and Edith Thompson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Glenda Erwin (Randy), Linda Mundy, Ricky Thompson (Julie), Bryan Thompson (Lisa), Chrisanna Brown (Ricky) and Dana Gulledge (Kenny); her cousin Selena Small (Donna); and her niece Tabitha Brown (Donna). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
