We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2020, at the age of 86, Demetrios Bakis of Mooresville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Angel Chris Bakis and Penelope Zormpala Bakis; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bakis Harakas and Chris. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl of Mooresville, NC; his sons, Chris of Charlotte, NC and Jamie of Point Harbor, NC; and his sister Frances Bakis Pistolis of Greenville, SC..

In Lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that contributions be made to the Pew Renovation at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Charlotte, NC.
