It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David McKinley Beam Jr. of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father David Beam; his wife Doris Proctor Beam; and his brother Dennis Beam. He is survived by: his children, Ray Beam (Michelle), Nolan Beam (Karen) and Donna Mayes (Ray); and his sister Carolyn Simpson (Bill). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials of sympathy may be made in David's name to McKendree United Methodist Church, 291 McKendree Road, Mooresville, NC 28117.
