He was predeceased by: his parents, James Durant "Tump" and Lucy Covington Hager; and his siblings, Donnie, James, Bennie Hager and Margaret Ann Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Wright Hager; his daughters, Gina Gajus (Eric), Gwen Hager (John) and Dana Hager (Scott); his siblings, Phyllis Rinehardt (Johnny) and Joe Hager (Joann); his grandchildren, Stephen (Liz), Shania, Dusty, Courtney (David), Jacob, Matthew (Ezzy), Cory and Cooper (Anna Claire); and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Scarlette, Aubrey, Jacob, Lahania, Raelyn and Gracelynn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
