She was predeceased by: her father Lonnie Brown. She is survived by: her mother Betty Martin Brown; her husband Rodney Beam; her children, Brian Beam (Sunny Beam) of Charlotte and Kristie Beam Long of Eugene, OR; her siblings, Cathy Blackwelder, Rhonda Meadows, Patty Lawing and Lonnie Corriher; and her grandchildren, Madeline, Ashton, Paul, Noah and Olivia.
In the spirit of keeping the hand crafts alive for future generations, the family would like memorial donations sent to the Palmetto Pleaters, a Chapter of the Smocking Arts Guild of America for their Wee Care service project which is used for babies that don't make it home from the hospital.
