He is survived by: his parents, Harry Cooley and Cozie Cooley of Winston-Salem, NC; his wife Rachel Gatewood Cooley; his children, Jonathan Cooley of Kitty Hawk, NC, Nathan Cooley (Emily) of Conover, NC, Hannah Cooley and Sarah Cooley; his siblings, Cherlynn Cooley of Winston-Salem, NC and Geron Cooley of Winston-Salem, NC; his mother-in-law Polly Gatewood; and his brother-in-law Eric Gatewood.
