She was predeceased by: her father Mouzon Belk; her husband Horace Howard Neel; and her siblings, Patty Carriker and Mouzon "Zonnie" Belk. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Neel McCarter (Dean) and Daphne Neel (Andy Clyde); her sister-in-law Martha Ann Mackey; her grandson Patrick McCarter; and her great grandchild Paisley McCarter.
