It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cathy Eveson of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Culloden, West Virginia, who passed away on May 24, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Jim Swan and Linda Swan of Culloden, WV; her brother Jason Swan; her husband Rick Eveson; her children, Kyndall Caroline Eveson and Cole Richard Eveson; her aunt Jo Ellen Stephens; and her uncle John McComas of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by many other uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County or Carolina Big Hearts Big Barks, a Non-Profit 501c3 Rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of large breed dogs which brought Gunner into our lives last year and will provide ongoing love to the family after her passing.
