She was predeceased by: her parents, Darryl Knisley and Clarice Knisley; her husbands, Charles B Copeland and George Mullins; her sister Sharon Morgan; her sons, Charles McKim Copeland and David Jay Copeland; and her father-in-law David Jay Copeland.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Robert Copeland and Bobbie Copeland; her grandchildren, Morgan, Rob Sanders, Charles, Jessie Copeland, David, Francesca Copeland, Maxwell Copeland, Karina Cestaro, Matthew, Demi Copeland, Claire Copeland and Alex Bowen; and her great grandchild Henry R. Sanders.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House, 1325 Mecklenburg Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28115.
