He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Johnson Goforth and Georgia Reed Street Goforth; his wife Judy Law Goforth; his children, David Goforth (Cindy) of Matthews, NC, Daniel Goforth (Rebecca) of Hayden, AL, Doug Goforth (Lisa) of Charlotte, NC and Marianne Link (David) of Durham, NC; and his sisters, Nancy Carol Pilgrim (Joe) of Mooresville, NC and Kay Ellen Goforth of Gastonia, NC. He was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter and three step great-grandchildren.
