He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Christie and Lucy Corriher Christie; his granddaughter Madison Moody; and his siblings, Joe, Tom, Carl Christie, Ruby Edmiston, Betty Saunders and Lena Freeland.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Travis Christie; his daughters, Lisa Christie Millsaps (Brent) and Amy Christie Moody (Steve); his grandchildren, Bailey Moody and Tristan Millsaps; and his sisters, Pat Morrison and Linda Moody (Richard).
