She was predeceased by: her father Willie Melvin; her sister Ruth Meadows; and her brother-in-law George Sproul. She is survived by: her children, Jake Sparrow (Treasure Foose) of Kannapolis and Kristi Sparrow Long (Charles) of Huntersville; her sisters, Vickie Sproul of Mooresville, Patty Virkler (Craig) of Charlotte and Kelly Overcash (Mark) of Mooresville; and her grandchildren, Hanna, Carissa, Xander, Addilyn and Tyson.
