She was predeceased by: her parents, William Coggins and Bessie Stimpson Coggins; her husband James Cleveland Wooten; and her siblings, Jaudaine Allred, Emma Nell Davis and William Clary "Sonny" Coggins.
She is survived by: her pets, Copper and Sugar; and her children, Andy Wooten of Mooresville and Joan Snudden (David) of Asheville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
