She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Atwell and Mary Atwell; her sisters, Marie Walkup (Harold Walkup) of Fayetteville and Shirley Christy (Frankie Christy) of New London; her husband Robert Bruce Beam Jr.; and her children, Robert Andrew Beam (Andy) of Statesville, Kathy Beam of Davidson and Lorie Beam (Rhonda D'Urso) of Raleigh. She was also cherished by her daughters and extended family.
