Beatrice Baxter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Baxter of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gothard Albertis Overcash, Sr. and Leona Pierce Overcash; her husband Robert B. Baxter; and her siblings, Roy Overcash, James Overcash, Paul David Overcash, Gothard A. Overcash, Jr., Alma Overcash, Lucille Hendren, Pauline Overcash and Romona Powers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Lowrance and Patricia "Pat" Bailey; her grandchildren, Terry Bailey, Debbie Mullis (Edwin) and Dennis Wright; and her great grandchildren, Matthew Wright and Caitlin Overman (Josh). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Chapel (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Glenwood Memorial Park (273 Glenwood Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115).
