She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jack Murdock; her daughters, Karen Denise Murdock and Kristen M. Carter (Jesse); her grandchildren, Kate Campbell Carter and Jesse James Carter, Jr.; her siblings, Carol M. Sloop, Clyde "Buddy" Millsaps (Yolanda) and Daniel Charles Millsaps; her friend Eladio Zayas; her nephews, Matthew C. Millsaps (Betsy) and Jan-Herlice Heredia (Maria); and her great-niece Mikaella Vanessa Heredia.
