She was predeceased by: her parents, Cullen Benfield and Mary Barkley Benfield; her husband Wesley Boyden Dishman; and her siblings, Marverine Stutts, Bill Benfield and Lib Christie.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Dishman, Wesley Dishman (Bridgette Ray), Cathy Burrell (Steve Teeter) and Nancy Goodman; her grandchildren, Amy Lyerly (Kevin Houck), Shane Dishman (Samantha), Josh Powers (Lea) and Chrystan Dozier (Joe); her great grandchildren, Dustin Lyerly, Zach Powers (Emma), Alycia Powers, Matthew Lyerly, James Dishman, Elora Dozier and Lilly Williamson; and her close friend Judy Cowan Morrow.
