It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie Grady Brown Jr. in Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. G. Brown, Sr. and Carrie Sheppard Brown; and his siblings, Boyd Brown, Robert Brown, Donalene Cook and Georgia Rumfelt.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Plummer Brown; his sons, John (Vickie) and Scott (Sherri); and his sister Ruth Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
A private, immediate family only memorial service will be held due to COVID.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in A.G.'s memory to Williamson's Chapel UMC, 575 Brawley School Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117 or to a church or Christian charity of the donor's choosing.
