She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Glover Hart and Mary Lucille Morgan Hart; and her brother Kenneth "Kenny" Hicks Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bryan Day; her nephews, Kenneth Wayne Hicks III (Kenny Wayne), Edward Glover Hicks (Eddy) and Brandon Hicks; her stepdaughter Jamie Perdue (Matt); and her grandchildren, Kole, Coby and Matthew Perdue.
In lieu of flowers, Amy requested donations be made to the Saint Jude's Children Research Hospital.
