With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alta Mae Christy of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Guy W. Christy. She is survived by: her sons, Daryl Christy (Stephanie) of Albemarle and Jeff Christy (Mary Carl) of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Gage Christy, Bethany Christy (Jay Carter) of Kannapolis and Jack Christy of Kernersville; her great grandchild Edi Meredith Christy-Carter of Kannapolis; and her siblings, Helen Craig, Frances Hill, Hazel Freeze, Rev. Gene Bost, Jerry Bost and Tom Bost. She is also survived by parents, siblings, nieces or nephews, Alta gave comfort to her extended family.
In lieu of flowers, Alta request that donations be made to Unity UMC Kannapolis, Mobile Meals on Wheels program.
