It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alicia Perez of Mooresville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurelio Alvarez and Maria Alvarez; her husband Alejos Perez; and her son Jose Eduardo Perez. She is survived by: her children, Alejos Perez, Jr. (Ines), Teresita Hernandez (Andres), Rosa Cordova (Cesar), Anita Johansson (Raimond), Alicia Perez, Hattie Walker and Judy Jenkins (Gregory); her brothers, Arnoldo Alvarez and Alberto Alvarez; and her pet Chiquita. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
